Hi, I’m Sarah Gray

People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be feeling anxious, low or overwhelmed, noticing patterns you can’t seem to shift, or going through a change that hit harder than you anticipated. Perhaps relationships feel strained, your sense of self worth has dropped, or there’s a gap between how people see you and how you feel within. Sometimes, all we know is that something isn’t right and we want space to examine this.

I offer a safe, reflective space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. I will listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, offer tools, help you to raise awareness of your patterns, and aid you in reframing your thoughts and perspective. My priority is to support you in feeling clearer, to grow and be in control of the direction of your life.

My Approach

I am a qualified counsellor with a Diploma in Counselling and experience supporting clients through both Women's Aid services and Employee Assistance Programmes (EAPs). Working with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences has given me valuable insight into the challenges that individuals can face, including relationship difficulties, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, loss, and life transitions.

I am an integrative, person-centred counsellor, which means I believe each person is unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Rather than working rigidly within a single model, I draw on a range of counselling approaches and techniques, tailoring my work to meet your individual needs, goals, and circumstances. At the heart of my practice is the belief that you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

I am passionate about building a genuine therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and respect. Whether you are seeking support with a specific issue or looking for space to better understand yourself, I aim to help you feel heard, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

I am a registered counsellor with the British Association of Counselling Practitioners.

Feel Heard

In our work together, you will have a safe, supportive space where you are genuinely listened to without judgement. I will take time to understand your experiences and what matters to you, helping you feel heard, respected, and understood as you explore what is going on in your life.

Move Forward

Counselling with me is about helping you find clarity and direction when things feel stuck or overwhelming. Together we can explore your thoughts and feelings, make sense of your experiences, and identify realistic steps that support you in moving forward in a way that feels manageable and right for you.
