This is your first step; let's see what suits you best...

In-Person Sessions

I offer in-person counselling sessions from my comfortable and welcoming home counselling space in Strathblane, providing a private, calm environment where you can feel at ease to explore whatever is on your mind. The space has disabled access, ensuring that sessions are accessible and inclusive for people with a range of mobility needs. My aim is to create a safe, supportive setting where you can talk openly and work at your own pace.

Must be okay with cats. I have two, they don’t respect boundaries like I do.

ONLINE and Telephone Counselling

Our lives are busier than ever, and finding time for yourself can feel difficult amongst the demands of work, family, and everyday life. Online or telephone counselling offers a flexible and convenient way to access support without the need to travel, making it easier to prioritise your wellbeing. Whether you're juggling a busy schedule, have caring responsibilities, experience mobility challenges, or simply feel more comfortable in your own surroundings, online counselling can provide the same dedicated support as in-person sessions. I offer confidential counselling via Microsoft Teams or by telephone, allowing you to access professional support from wherever you feel most comfortable, at a time that works for you. All you need is a private space where you can talk openly and focus on yourself.

Single Sessions

Sometimes, one conversation is all that's needed. A single therapy session can provide a dedicated space to explore a specific concern, gain clarity on a difficult situation, or think through an important decision. Whether you're facing a current challenge, feeling stuck, or simply want professional support at a particular moment in your life, you can work with me for a one-off session where I can offer insight, perspective, and practical ways forward, without the commitment of ongoing counselling.

Solution Focused Brief Therapy is a practical, goal-oriented approach that focuses on your strengths, resources, and the changes you would like to see in your life. Rather than spending extensive time exploring the origins of difficulties, SFBT helps you identify what is already working, build on existing successes, and develop realistic steps towards your preferred future.

This approach can be particularly helpful if you have a specific issue, goal, or area of life you would like to improve and are looking for focused, short-term support. Sessions are collaborative, forward-looking, and designed to help you recognise your own abilities to create meaningful change.

While my integrative person-centred counselling offers space for deeper exploration, self-understanding, and longer-term personal growth, Solution Focused Brief Therapy provides a more structured and targeted approach for those seeking practical strategies and achievable outcomes within a shorter timeframe.
